Pedal on the Pounds is a leisurely ride with camaraderie, lots of laughs, and, yes, calories.
Please join us on July 11 at 9am (pre-ride photos at 8:50)
Meet at Lion’s Park just down Lake Rd from The Waters Edge (Formerly the 400 Supper Club)
25958 Lake Road, St. Cloud, MN 56301.
Early registration ends at 8:49 on July 11th.
As always, please bring something calorie ladened to share. In lieu of an official entry fee and/or setting up our own charity we will be supporting the CycleHealth organization. CycleHealth’s mission: To create a new cycle of health in America, starting with the youngest generation. My cousin’s industrious children Kristina and Kyle Swenson are very involved with this organization. Please take a moment to see the great work being done: http://www.cyclehealth.org/
The anticipated pace for the 33 mile route is a conversation-filled 10-12mph with two planned rest stops at mile 14 and 24. (There is a way to shave 6 miles off the first leg… shhhh, we won’t tell.)
For those wanting a bigger challenge each segment has an additional loop bringing the total distance to 50 miles. The pace of the 50 mile riders is typically 15-17 mph.

Please consider volunteering!
Friday evening I will be posting signs for the route. It is a big job with one person – but can be broken down to several vehicles vary easily. I will have maps available with what signs need to go where.
Immediately after the event we will need to remove the signs.
We also need additional SAG support.
